Everything about Influence in plain words. Short version: your X influence is scored, the score and your actions become points, and the points become your share of the airdrop.
The reward
The reward is the airdrop.
Everything you earn on Influence is Influence Points. At the snapshot, the token airdrop is split among all registered accounts in proportion to their points: twice the points, twice the share. Points are the only input. There is no whitelist, no private allocation and no manual adjustment.
Not announced yet: the total token amount, the snapshot date and the claim mechanics. They will be posted here and on the official X account before the snapshot. Until then, points have no monetary value and no specific token amount is promised.
Genesis Pass
500 passes. The top 500 at snapshot mint free.
The Genesis Pass is an NFT on Robinhood Chain, limited to 500, minted once and never again. At the snapshot, the 500 accounts with the most Influence Points qualify to mint one, free, with their linked wallet. One pass per account. Nothing is sold: there is no paid mint, no allowlist and no reserved passes for the team.
How to qualify: the same way you earn everything here. Connect X, finish the join checklist, invite people, complete the daily tasks, win Influence Battles. The leaderboard shows your rank at all times; rank 500 or better at the snapshot is the only condition. If an account is flagged for fraud before the mint, it loses its place and the next account moves up.
What the pass does: it marks a founding member of Influence. Its utility is part of the token plan below and is announced at token launch, together with the airdrop amount, the snapshot date and the mint window. Until then the pass is a position to earn, not a product to buy, and no value is promised.
What Influence is
A value for your voice, and a card to prove it.
Attention on X is worth money, but the people who create it rarely see a number for it. Influence connects to your X account, reads only public data, and turns it into an Estimated Influence Value in dollars, an Influence Score out of 100 and a card you can share. The formula is published; every account is scored the same way.
- Read-only. Sign-in goes through X's own screen. We never see your password, cannot post for you, and do not store your access token.
- Built on Robinhood Chain. The token and the airdrop contracts live on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). You link a wallet by signing a free message; no transaction is needed before launch.
- Two phases. Phase 1 is open now: register, get your card, invite, do tasks, climb the board. Phase 2 opens at token launch: dashboard, public profiles, wallet linking, claim.
How to earn points
Four ways. All of them count towards the airdrop.
Tiers
Five tiers. A long climb, by design.
Your tier is printed on your card and colours its frame. The influence score alone tops out at 10,000 points, so every tier above Spark has to be earned by showing up every day, bringing real people in and keeping them active. The same thresholds apply to everyone; there is no fast lane.
| Tier | Influence Points | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Spark | 0 to 49,999 | Connect X. Everyone starts here. |
| Pulse | 50,000 to 99,999 | About three weeks of daily tasks plus a handful of referrals, or 100 credited referrals. |
| Surge | 100,000 to 499,999 | A few months of daily tasks and an active referral tree; the first milestones help. |
| Apex | 500,000 to 1,999,999 | A season of consistent work and a referral network that keeps earning. |
| Legend | 2,000,000 and up | The top of the board. Reserved for accounts that carry the network. |
How fast anyone can climb
Points per day are capped the same way for every account: one daily task (up to 750 PTS), at most 25 credited referrals (12,500 PTS), plus milestone bonuses when you reach them. Nobody can buy a tier, and points are never edited by hand.
Tiers mark your progress on the card itself: Spark from the start, Pulse from 50,000 PTS, Surge from 100,000 PTS, Apex from 500,000 PTS, Legend from 2,000,000 PTS. The exact weights, caps and anti-abuse rules are on How it works.
Influence Battles
Two accounts. One theme. One post each. Engagement rate decides.
- 01Challenge anyone on Influence by username (there is a Challenge button on every leaderboard row), or post an open challenge anyone can accept. Stake any amount from 100 points up to what you and your opponent both hold, or pick a friendly battle with no stake at all. A stake leaves your balance the moment you enter.
- 02When the other side accepts, both of you have 24 hours to publish one original post on the theme with the battle hashtag. We find it on your own account; nothing is pasted.
- 036 hours after the window closes, both posts are read once from the X API. Score = (likes x1 + reposts x2 + replies x3 + quotes x3 + bookmarks x2) divided by your followers. A 2k account that gets its people talking beats a 200k account that gets a shrug.
- 04Winner takes the pot (both stakes) minus a 5% treasury fee. No post means forfeit. Two missing posts, or equal scores, is a draw and both stakes come back.
- 05Spectators can put points behind a side while the posting window is open (from 100). Winning backers get their points back plus their share of the losing side's pool, in proportion to what they put in; 5% of that pool goes to the treasury. A draw refunds every backer.
- 06Every week (Monday 00:00 UTC) 50% of the treasury is paid to the week's top three fighters by points won in battles: 50% / 30% / 20%. The treasury is only ever fed by fees and only ever drained by prizes; every entry is recorded.
- 07Challenge anyone: the Challenge button on the leaderboard and on Top fighters sends a request they can accept or decline; declining returns your stake. Open challenges can be accepted by anyone eligible.
Fair play: at most 3 battles running per account, stakes never above what both sides hold, no rematch against the same account for 7 days, flagged accounts cannot enter, and unanswered challenges expire after 48 hours with the stake returned. Stakes, backing, the treasury and weekly prizes are all in Influence Points until the token launches. From launch the same system runs in $INFLUENCE and ETH: stakes and backing in the token, the treasury fee collected in it, weekly prizes paid in ETH, and sponsors funding themed battle weeks.
The token
Coming at token launch: what $INFLUENCE will do.
None of this is live yet. The airdrop puts the token in the hands of the people who built the network; from launch, the token is the way value moves inside Influence. Planned utility, in order of priority:
- 01Boost. Stake tokens to raise your earn rate on referrals and tasks in later seasons. Staked tokens are locked for the season.
- 02Sponsored tasks. Brands and projects pay in the token to run tasks on Influence. Users who complete them are paid in the token, by score tier, so reach is rewarded and bots are not.
- 03Card upgrades. Hold or spend the token for premium card frames, animated cards and custom signatures. Tiers earned by points stay free.
- 04Seasons and prize pools. Each season has a leaderboard prize pool in the token, split by points earned that season, so late joiners can still win.
- 05Governance. Token holders vote on the scoring weights, the tier thresholds and the task catalogue for the next season.
- 06Tipping. Send the token to any card holder straight from their card.
This is the plan, not a contract. Utility ships in the order above as each piece is built and audited; anything that changes will be announced before it goes live.
Fair play and privacy
- One account per X user ID. Signing in again refreshes your numbers; it can never create a second account.
- Referrals count once, at registration, and only for X accounts at least 30 days old. A referrer is credited at most 25 a day.
- Tasks are verified by reading your own X account through the API: no typed usernames, no pasted links, no screenshots. Tasks open one at a time, in order: the next one unlocks only when the one before it is verified, and the server refuses a later task even if the account did it. Each post counts once, for one account, ever. Suspicious accounts (implausible engagement, follow farming, under 90 days old) keep their points but are not eligible for rewards.
- We store your X ID, username, display name, avatar URL and the public numbers used for scoring. Nothing else. Delete requests: message the official X account.
Disclaimer
Estimated influence value is an in-app score, not the market value of any account and not a balance. Influence Points have no monetary value. The airdrop, its size, timing and claim rules are not final until announced. Nothing here is financial advice.
